The insurance industry talks alot about the cost of mold and the home building industry talks about energy efficient (air tight) construction. How much colabaration do the three inteities have and shouldnt there be more cooperation between the three in order to come to reasonbly balanced standards for constructing greener homes that are energy efficient which contain less chemicals and also have good air circulation without giving up moisture control? One industry wants a tight home while yet another industry wants a home with good circulation and yet another wants bio friendly products. What role is the remediation industry playing in this ever changing dilemma of environmentally friendly living? The remediation industry is playing the role of cleaning up the mess of all the others and warning folks of the dangers of mold and how serious certain mold is.
Should I get out of my house if my mold is bad enough? Absolutely! Until it is cleaned up and safe again and the home is retested known as post testing to see what levels the home or business is at after the mold clean up work has been completed.
