Bring in a certified mold inspector and let him or her do samples via air borne, swab, and tape lift off and send them off to the lab so the lab can determine what kind of mold is in the apartment. Then, and only then do you have what you can show your apartment complex. I would also suggest letting an inspector who is certified in mold perform an infrared scan into your walls and ceilings into your apartment. What you can not see can hurt you. For example, when I went into my physicians office recently for my yearly physicial, I asked my physician if I looked healthy? He stated David, you know I can not answer that question until I give you a full physicial. The same way with an apartment. I need to give your apartment a full check up and then send the samples off to the lab to determine what kind and if we have some sort of mold concern or problem. If we do have a problem, Executive Restoration will be more than happy to take care of the problem.
